Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Happy Prince, 1993 by James Brown was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 573.75. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Brown achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 64,480.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Happy Prince, 1993 von James Brown wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 573,75 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Brown erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 64.480,00.
