Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Speeding home: The Black Prince by James Brereton was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,511.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by James Brereton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cornish breakers in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,344.67).

Die Arbeit Speeding home: The Black Prince von James Brereton wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert.
