In March 2013 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Calm Day II, 1960 by James Boswell. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,370.94), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by James Boswell have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2013 the work Untitled, 1959 was auctioned for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,260.05).

Im März 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calm Day II, 1960 von James Boswell zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.370,94) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von James Boswell konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2013 die Arbeit Untitled, 1959 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.260,05) versteigert.
