Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ophelia by Jean-Baptiste Bertrand was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in March 2009. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,752.32). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Bertrand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ophelia in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 97,500.00 (€ 108,795.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ophelia von Jean-Baptiste Bertrand wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.752,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Bertrand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ophelia im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 97.500,00 (€ 108.795,03).
