The work Blossoming tree by Jakob Nieweg was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. It achieved a price of EUR 6,875.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38 %. Admittedly, works by Jakob Nieweg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portret Charley Toorop in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 28,800.00.

Die Arbeit Blossoming tree von Jakob Nieweg kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.875,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jakob Nieweg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portret Charley Toorop im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.800,00.
