The work Flowers in a Chinese vase by Jakob Nieweg was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. It achieved a price of EUR 2,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jakob Nieweg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portret Charley Toorop in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 28,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flowers in a Chinese vase von Jakob Nieweg kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jakob Nieweg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portret Charley Toorop im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.800,00.
