Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tending to the fields by Jacques Zon was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. The price achieved of EUR 956.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Zon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Horses on the beach, which sold at auction in July 2003 for EUR 2,151.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 956,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacques Zon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Horses on the beach beobachtet, die im Juli 2003 für EUR 2.151,00 versteigert wurde.
