Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paysage by Jacques Yankel was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 600.00 – 1,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 375.00 (€ 471.09). Other works by Jacques Yankel have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2010 by the work L'Atelier De L'Artiste at EUR 893.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paysage von Jacques Yankel im März 2008 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 375,00 (€ 471,09) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Jacques Yankel wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2010 die Arbeit L'Atelier De L'Artiste mit EUR 893,00.
