This artwork by Jacques Hurtubise achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011. In the Important Canadian Art auction, the work Relief D'Hiver sold for CAD 25,200.00 (€ 18,093.66) - well above the upper estimate of CAD 12,000.00. This high result makes Relief D'Hiver the most expensive artwork by Jacques Hurtubise that we have observed at auctions so far.
