In April 2011 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction The BAT Artventure Collection Formerly Known as the Peter Stuyvesant Collection, Part Two, which included the work Amélie by Jacques Hurtubise. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,250.00 41% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jacques Hurtubise have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of CAD 25,200.00 (€ 18,093.66) in May 2011 for the work Relief D'Hiver.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.250,00 und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
