In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Scena di battaglia by Jacques Courtois for EUR 8,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Importanti Arredi, Dipinti Antichi, Oggetti d'Arte e Arte Orientale at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 9,000.00 – 9,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Courtois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Putti And Children Surrounded By Fruit, Formal Gardens Beyond in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 70,000.00 (€ 81,841.36).
