Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Die Einschiffung von Waren. by Jacques Callot was sold in the Fine Art auction at VAN HAM in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 6,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Callot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fair At Gondreville, Or Mayday Celebrations At Xeuilley in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 288,000.00 (€ 427,746.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Die Einschiffung von Waren. von Jacques Callot wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Art bei VAN HAM versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Callot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fair At Gondreville, Or Mayday Celebrations At Xeuilley im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 288.000,00 (€ 427.746,48).
