A top price for Jacques Azema
This artwork by Jacques Azema achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2021. In the Majorelle & his Contemporaries auction, the work Hammam, 1960 sold for MAD 130,000.00 (€ 12,290.16) - well above the upper estimate of MAD 66,000.00. This high result makes Hammam, 1960 the most expensive artwork by Jacques Azema that we have observed at auctions so far.
