Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings Part II, which included the work Saint Lawrence by Jacopo Vignali. The price achieved of USD 48,000.00 (€ 35,139.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacopo Vignali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work David with the Head of Goliath in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 162,750.00 (€ 181,806.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint Lawrence von Jacopo Vignali zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 35.139,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacopo Vignali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit David with the Head of Goliath im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 162.750,00 (€ 181.806,26).
