Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings, which included the work A young girl in a red dress with a purple cloak, her head resting on her hand by Jacopo Vignali. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,111.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo Vignali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David with the Head of Goliath in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 162,750.00 (€ 181,806.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A young girl in a red dress with a purple cloak, her head resting on her hand von Jacopo Vignali zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.111,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacopo Vignali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit David with the Head of Goliath im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 162.750,00 (€ 181.806,26).
