Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A kneeling figure seen from behind, his arms raised by Jacopo da Empoli was sold in the Old Master and British Pictures and Old Master Drawings auction at Christies in London in April 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,054.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo da Empoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study Of A Boy in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 53,257.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A kneeling figure seen from behind, his arms raised von Jacopo da Empoli wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Old Master and British Pictures and Old Master Drawings bei Christies in London versteigert.
