In June 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors - Masters & Makers, which included the work A Large Group Of Portraits by Jacobus Houbracken. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,531.57), 43% above the upper estimate. With this result, A Large Group Of Portraits is even the most expensive work of art by Jacobus Houbracken that we have observed at auctions so far.
