Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Study of a group of trees in a sloping landscape by Jacob van Mosscher was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2015. It achieved a price of EUR 3,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob van Mosscher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Couple Resting Beneath Tall Trees On The Bank Of A Pond in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 43,917.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Study of a group of trees in a sloping landscape von Jacob van Mosscher kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob van Mosscher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Couple Resting Beneath Tall Trees On The Bank Of A Pond im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 43.917,34).
