Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape With Resting Shepherds by Jacob van Mosscher was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2017. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,550.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob van Mosscher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Couple Resting Beneath Tall Trees On The Bank Of A Pond in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 43,917.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape With Resting Shepherds von Jacob van Mosscher wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.550,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob van Mosscher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Couple Resting Beneath Tall Trees On The Bank Of A Pond im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 43.917,34).
