Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Tower Of Babel by Jacob van der Ulft was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2011. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,691.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob van der Ulft - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Tivoli from the north, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 63,065.72).
