This artwork by Jacob Savery I achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2019. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work An Extensive Landscape With A Bull Hunt sold for GBP 106,250.00 (€ 116,655.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Savery I have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter landscape with peasants and cattle by a farmstead, with skaters on a frozen river beyond in December last year with an auction result of GBP 554,400.00 (€ 625,863.60).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Savery I auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A winter landscape with peasants and cattle by a farmstead, with skaters on a frozen river beyond im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 554.400,00 (€ 625.863,60).
