Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Colosseum, Rome (Illustrated); Figures Before The Forum, Rome; And Castel Sant'Angelo And St. Peter'S Viewed From Across The Tiber by Jacob George Strutt was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in May 2013. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,753.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob George Strutt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Arch of Constantine, Rome in February this year with an auction result of GBP 21,675.00 (€ 24,723.24).

Die Arbeit The Colosseum, Rome (Illustrated); Figures Before The Forum, Rome; And Castel Sant'Angelo And St. Peter'S Viewed From Across The Tiber von Jacob George Strutt wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.753,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden.
