Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Cigar Girl by Jack Vettriano was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,314.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Vettriano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bluebird At Bonneville in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 468,000.00 (€ 691,827.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Cigar Girl von Jack Vettriano kam im September 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.314,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Vettriano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bluebird At Bonneville im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 468.000,00 (€ 691.827,58).
