Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Only A Rose by Jack Vettriano was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,123.16) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Vettriano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bluebird At Bonneville in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 468,000.00 (€ 691,827.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Only A Rose von Jack Vettriano wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.123,16) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Vettriano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bluebird At Bonneville im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 468.000,00 (€ 691.827,58).
