In May 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post- War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Generalissimo by Jaap Mooy. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 16,250.00 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Generalissimo is even the most expensive work of art by Jaap Mooy that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post- War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Generalissimo von Jaap Mooy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 16.250,00 und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Generalissimo sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jaap Mooy, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
