Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Running from the wolves; Running through the forest; and Troikas in the snow by J. Orloff. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,482.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by J. Orloff have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2008 the work Highwaymen; and The Flight was auctioned for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,325.06).

Im März 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Running from the wolves; Running through the forest; and Troikas in the snow von J. Orloff zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.482,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von J. Orloff konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2008 die Arbeit Highwaymen; and The Flight für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.325,06) versteigert.
