Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Uruguay, XIV Campeonato Sudamericano De Football by J. Bonelli was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,226.47). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by J. Bonelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Uruguay, Xiv Campeonato Sudamericano De Football, which sold at auction in November 2011 for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,626.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Uruguay, XIV Campeonato Sudamericano De Football von J. Bonelli im April 2012 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.226,47) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von J. Bonelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Uruguay, Xiv Campeonato Sudamericano De Football beobachtet, die im November 2011 für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.626,64) versteigert wurde.
