This work without title by J. B. Murry was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2018. The result of USD 1,000.00 (€ 804.63) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by J. B. Murry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, circa 1980, which sold at auction in January 2019 for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,400.91).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von J. B. Murry kam im Januar 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 804,63) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von J. B. Murry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, circa 1980 beobachtet, die im Januar 2019 für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.400,91) versteigert wurde.
