Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Half Full by J. Ariadhitya Pramuhendra was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,024.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by J. Ariadhitya Pramuhendra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Holy Mass, which sold at auction in October 2010 for HKD 884,000.00 (€ 82,075.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Half Full von J. Ariadhitya Pramuhendra wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.024,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von J. Ariadhitya Pramuhendra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Holy Mass beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für HKD 884.000,00 (€ 82.075,72) versteigert wurde.
