Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2000 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH PRINTS 1960-1974, which included the work The 'Garden Suite': Two plates by Ivor Abrahams. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 350.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 352.50 (€ 576.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivor Abrahams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Tableaux in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,748.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH PRINTS 1960-1974 durch, in der auch die Arbeit The 'Garden Suite': Two plates von Ivor Abrahams zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 350,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 352,50 (€ 576,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivor Abrahams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Tableaux im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.748,77).
