The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,112.67), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Lubennikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vera, Nadejda, Lubov (Faith, Hope, Love), which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 61,250.00 (€ 77,422.05).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.112,67) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Lubennikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vera, Nadejda, Lubov (Faith, Hope, Love) beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 61.250,00 (€ 77.422,05) versteigert wurde.
