Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Russian carpe Diem by Ivan Lubennikov. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 32,251.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Lubennikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vera, Nadejda, Lubov (Faith, Hope, Love), which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 61,250.00 (€ 77,422.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Russian carpe Diem von Ivan Lubennikov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 32.251,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Lubennikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vera, Nadejda, Lubov (Faith, Hope, Love) beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 61.250,00 (€ 77.422,05) versteigert wurde.
