Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vestige, 1989 by Istvan Sandorfi was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,825.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Istvan Sandorfi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Palette De Safi - 2001 in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 18,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vestige, 1989 von Istvan Sandorfi kam im Mai 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.825,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Istvan Sandorfi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Palette De Safi - 2001 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.200,00.
