In the Le parcours d'un collectionneurd'Alain Jacquet à Robert Combas auction, the work Casa Nostra sold for EUR 6,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Istvan Sandorfi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Palette De Safi - 2001, which sold at auction in October 2018 for EUR 18,200.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Istvan Sandorfi erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Le parcours d'un collectionneurd'Alain Jacquet à Robert Combas wurde die Arbeit Casa Nostra für EUR 6.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Istvan Sandorfi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Palette De Safi - 2001 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für EUR 18.200,00 versteigert wurde.
