This artwork by Istvan Sandorfi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in October 2021. In the Le parcours d'un collectionneurd'Alain Jacquet à Robert Combas auction, the work Casa Nostra sold for EUR 6,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Istvan Sandorfi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Palette De Safi - 2001, which sold at auction in October 2018 for EUR 18,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Istvan Sandorfi erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Le parcours d'un collectionneurd'Alain Jacquet à Robert Combas wurde die Arbeit Casa Nostra für EUR 6.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Istvan Sandorfi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Palette De Safi - 2001 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für EUR 18.200,00 versteigert wurde.
