Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hoarder Sale, which included this untitled work by Israel Lund. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,136.59), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Israel Lund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 141,092.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hoarder Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Israel Lund zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.136,59) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Israel Lund erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 141.092,54).
