A top price for Isidor Kaufmann - as previously expected
The work Portrait Of A Boy by Isidor Kaufmann was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 450,000.00 – 650,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 500,000.00 (€ 448,470.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait Of A Boy is the most expensive artwork by Isidor Kaufmann that we have observed at auctions so far.
