Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Austrian Portrait Of A Rabbi With Prayer Shawl by Isidor Kaufmann. It changed hands for a price of USD 278,500.00 (€ 209,367.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Isidor Kaufmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Boy, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 500,000.00 (€ 448,470.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Austrian Portrait Of A Rabbi With Prayer Shawl von Isidor Kaufmann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 278.500,00 (€ 209.367,01) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Isidor Kaufmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of A Boy beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 500.000,00 (€ 448.470,71) versteigert wurde.
