In June 2010 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & British Impressionist Pictures Including Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work Wild Thyme Farm by Isabel Codrington. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,721.28), 72% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Isabel Codrington; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Drowsy Summer Days sold at auction in June 2011 with the realized price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,423.64).

Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Pictures Including Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wild Thyme Farm von Isabel Codrington zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.721,28) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Isabel Codrington; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Drowsy Summer Days im Juni 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.423,64).
