Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Still Life With Fruit In A Basket, Including Bunches Of Grapes And Lemons, Cherries And Oranges On The Wooden Table Beneath by Isaak Soreau was sold in the Old Master Paintings Evening auction at Sothebys in London in July 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 216,000.00 (€ 320,809.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
