Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work The Great October by Isaak Izrailevich Brodsky for GBP 46,850.00 (€ 56,645.17). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaak Izrailevich Brodsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nanny With Children in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 937,250.00 (€ 1,099,831.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Great October von Isaak Izrailevich Brodsky für GBP 46.850,00 (€ 56.645,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaak Izrailevich Brodsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nanny With Children im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 937.250,00 (€ 1.099.831,46).
