Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The interior of Saint Bavo's, Haarlem by Isaac van Nickelen was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 2,755.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac van Nickelen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Intérieur D'Eglise in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 40,193.00.

Die Arbeit The interior of Saint Bavo's, Haarlem von Isaac van Nickelen kam im April 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.115,00 (€ 2.755,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac van Nickelen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Intérieur D'Eglise im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.193,00.
