It achieved a price of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,768.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Admittedly, works by Isaac van Nickelen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Intérieur D'Eglise in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 40,193.00.

Die Arbeit The Church of Saint Bavo in Haarlem von Isaac van Nickelen wurde im April 2005 in der Auktion Old Master Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.768,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isaac van Nickelen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Intérieur D'Eglise im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.193,00.
