Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Senza Titolo by Irving Petlin was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2004. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,100.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Irving Petlin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rubbings From The Calcium Garden...Sarah Born, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,564.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Irving Petlin kam im November 2004 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.100,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Irving Petlin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rubbings From The Calcium Garden...Sarah Born beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.564,47) versteigert wurde.
