A top price for Ioannis Altamouras - as previously expected
The work Greek Sailing Along The Coast, Skagen by Ioannis Altamouras was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 205,250.00 (€ 248,162.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Sailing Along The Coast, Skagen is the most expensive artwork by Ioannis Altamouras that we have observed at auctions so far.
