The work Tsuki (Moon) by Yuichi Inoue was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2021. It achieved a price of USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,190.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Yuichi Inoue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shisso (Painted In 1972) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tsuki (Moon) von Yuichi Inoue kam im März 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.190,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuichi Inoue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shisso (Painted In 1972) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61).
