A top price for Inokuma Genichiro
This artwork by Inokuma Genichiro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work City Planning (Orange No. 2) sold for HKD 756,000.00 (€ 83,733.15) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00. This high result makes City Planning (Orange No. 2) the most expensive artwork by Inokuma Genichiro that we have observed at auctions so far.
