Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Imre Szobotka achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November last year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 3,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Imre Szobotka; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Paesaggio sold at auction in December 2021 with the realized price of EUR 4,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Imre Szobotka erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 3.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Imre Szobotka; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Paesaggio im Dezember 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 4.500,00.
