Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Immi C. Storrs could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Passion + Transmission: International Contemporary Art from the CAP Collection auction, the work Future Horse changed hands for USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,633.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Immi C. Storrs - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Future Horses, which sold at auction in March 2013 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,728.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Immi C. Storrs konnte im März 2013 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Passion + Transmission: International Contemporary Art from the CAP Collection wechselte die Arbeit Future Horse für USD 5.938,00 (€ 4.633,27) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Immi C. Storrs mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Future Horses beobachtet, die im März 2013 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.728,78) versteigert wurde.
