A top price for Ilit Azoulay - as previously expected
In December 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Room #8 by Ilit Azoulay. The price achieved of USD 93,750.00 (€ 86,333.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Room #8 is the most expensive artwork by Ilit Azoulay that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Room #8 von Ilit Azoulay zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 86.333,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Room #8 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ilit Azoulay, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
