Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Red (From The Series Panic In Lack Of Event) by Ilit Azoulay was sold in the Postwar and Contemporary Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,046.81). Admittedly, works by Ilit Azoulay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Room #8 in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 86,333.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Red (From The Series Panic In Lack Of Event) von Ilit Azoulay wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Postwar and Contemporary Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.046,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ilit Azoulay auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Room #8 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 86.333,92).
